Is entrepreneurship the key to economic rejuvenation?

Just as a forest consists of trees so also an economy, it consists of entrepreneurs. It is their role which has a direct effect on the development of a society. By entrepreneur, it is emphasizing here the creative role it plays in building national economy. It is high time that our society appreciate their unique role in terms of enhancing the GDP, employment generation, and as an important economic institution whereby an individual can create job not only for himself but also for others. It is an institution which enlivens families as it creates jobs and enhanced productivity for prosperity through ones initiatives. Thus the positive impacts of enterprise are unbound. Beside we have seen powerful and ethical concepts are in the forefront now just as the corporate governance issues and concepts which bind the businesses to be more accountable socially, legally, environmentally and user friendly wise. There are lots of misinterpretations and tendency to distort the concept of free trade, somehow in the name of social justice, the great concept of the INVISIBLE HAND is diluted. According to Adam smith, the economic system is guided by the ?invisible hand?. A great concept! According to the concept of the invisible hand, the economic system is self regulating. Say producers are led by the profit motive to produce those goods and services which consumers want. They try to do at the minimum possible cost in order to maximize profits. Moreover, if there is competition among a number of producers, they will each try to keep the price of their product low in order to attract the consumers. The goods produced are made available in the market by the traders. They also act in their own self interest. However, in a self regulating economy, there is rarely any shortage of goods and services. And the economy is vibrant to cater to the ever increasing needs and demand of the consumer. Every society strives for excellence. Progressive societies prioritized and value the institution of entrepreneurship because it fuels the economic activities. Why can,nt we appreciate this great institution and paid its due regard? Don?t you think it may have the potential to rejuvenate the state economy? Now from this level of internal contradiction and inertia that is prevailing in the Manipur society, it will be an uphill task to energize the economy and put on tract-the lost path of growth and order. We may consider this option -just as sustaining a forest needs to plant more trees, we also need to plant more and more entrepreneurial seed to sustain the economy. And with the kind of opportunity which is availing as globalization and internet technology revolution unveil; one can say sky is the limit to create wealth. One can think global, and act locally. Lastly it is high time that the people of the Land show up some reasonable restraint and give some space for thought. Is entrepreneurship the key to economic rejuvenation

Terror strikes at ISKCON on Janmasthami

Why did the terrorist killed? Why did they target the innocent public children’s, women and elders?
Beyond all civilized norms and rationale terrorist attack at the fabric of one of the beautiful cultural and religious extravaganza killing 5 innocents and injuring more than 40 people at the ISkoN temple sangaiporu .It was happened during the celebration of the Krishna janmastami yesterday .Very upset seeing the aftermath of the attack Such a violence attack was unknown to Manipur ,s society and never happened in the history. Very merciless act!
The situation is a classic case of State government failure. No law and order, where is the confidence in the judicial administration, what is the trust in police? Why youths are turning to violence and mob culture. Where the economy is heading? Why people can kill people for money? Where the human value has gone? What are the public leaders are doing? What is their vision to take forwards the state to a greater height of civilization and development? What is the repercussion of recruiting personnel’s on the basis of bribe into the government department including police? What the social cost benefits are, in terms of lost of opportunity and time because of hindrance given to infrastructural development both social and economic? What is the level of corruptions? How can we maximize the merits of pressure groups and minimize the disadvantage and negative impact of it? How to create jobs and incomes for families? What are we doing to enhance the quality of roads, communications ,public health, sports, educationsion including vocational education?
What is the journalist doing in terms of educating public opinion beside the invaluable news they provide? What is the meaning of freedom? What is political freedom without economic freedom? What is the relevant in global context? What is the point in student union going into politic?
How to live and managed multicultural societies?
Before anything should we need to learn to think together without violence tone and in a democratic way? Than only can we see some positive move? Manipur is plague by insincerity of the public leaders and their inability to deal with seemingly non issues which arose from time to time and occupy the center stage of political and social life. In the process section of people are trying to capitalize for personal benefits.
Time has come to give the much needed space for some analysis and reasoning! Its better late than never.
